HOW TO SOAK HEAT STRESSED BIRDS IN WATER
Sometimes you need to soak severely heat stressed birds in water to drastically reduce their temperature and save them from death.

I use a 5 step format.
1. Hold the bird
2. Open its feathers
3. Dip gently into water up to its neck
4. Allow to stay in water for about 1 minute
5. Remove and allow to dry
