It is normal when a pig gives birth and milk is not coming out from the udder (breast)
It happens too to humans and this is where the doctors and nurses always come in handy.
In this situation, the brain is yet to process the fact that the sow has given birth.
This need to be corrected.
All you need is OXYTOCIN.
OXYTOCIN is the name of hormone that process the milk flowing down from the breast.
When your sow is not producing milk after birth, it’s either the oxytocin level is low or the oxytocin is not yet produced.
So you need to inject or should I say give the sow oxytocin.
The dosage or ml is what I can’t talk about. The reason is simply that am not your Vet.
The second reason is that I don’t know the age and weight of the animal in question.
